The all stainless steel stealth bracket, with it's patented design, bolts directly to the system case luggage rack via stainless hardware and remains almost invisible while on the bike. The black powder coated stealth bracket actually strengthens the factory plastic rack by a calculated 200%. The backrest's polished stainless steel slide bar slides on and off the bike in under 15 seconds and.. without tools.

Each kit comes standard with a quick release knob for "tool-less" backrest removal as well as a standard hex screw if you choose a more permanent mounting method. To remove the backrest with the quick release knob ....just reach under and it's off in 15 seconds. With the hex screw... you'll need an Allen wrench and 3 minutes to lock it into place or to remove it.

The Stealth offers 2 easily adjustable positions.... full back and 1.5" forward (recommended for children ONLY.) Just bolt it on and give your passenger....piece of mind.

The R1150R Stealth backrest is designed primarily for the stock factory seat. Can it be used with the Comfort seat? Yes, but there are clearance issues and the height of the backrest may be too low for some.
