Your factory tail/brake light bulb is crap! It's simply too small to attract immediate attention. This is especially true during daytime (pic above right) when the bright sunlight can wash out the red brake light. TailBlazer from Kisan overcomes this by not only being about 30-40% brighter than stock, but it starts rapidly flashing the taillight the instant you apply the brakes. The flash rate then slows down to a steady ON - this cycle lasts about 4 seconds.

The plug-n-play Tailblazer is a 20W halogen bulb which puts out a more intense bright light than your cheesy factory bulb. The Kisan bulb should only be used with the factory taillight housing. In other words, it really gets the attention of that cell phone wielding soccer mom behind you. The TailBlazer has a microchip embedded in the base which controls the flash modulation. 100% compatible with the CanBus and/or ABS systems on the new BMW.'s

Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) suggests that you pump your brakes at each stop. TailBlazer does it automatically, and by flashing the bulb filament at maximum brightness.

What Do They See?
As soon as you tap your brakes, that french fry eating teen behind you will see a rapid flash of the brake lights. This sudden flashing invokes immediate attention.

What Will They Think?
TailBlazer uses a flash pattern, which decays exponentially - a well-recognized deceleration warning. The attention to the initial flashing now changes to a clear recognition that you're beginning to slow down! Simply flashing brake lights or flashing them on & off will get the attention of drivers behind you, but it doesn't invoke anything else. Every split second of delay in their reaction time reduces your safety margin.

TailBlazer self modulating halogen bulbs have a dual contact base. The Modulator is built directly into the base while the element is replaceable.

Clear Housings: The TailBlazer bulb is white. We have had customers buy a red boot to put over the bulb to make it red for clear housing usage. That can be purchased at any automotive parts store.

CanBus Compatibility: I know what you are wondering. Are these problem free with the foofoo complicated CanBus systems the Germans stuck us with? Well for the most part..Yes. The Only thing that COULD happen (or so Kisan tells us) is that on a very small percentage of bikes.. perhaps 2%...the bulb out lamp MAY pulse with the stop mode. Once it has stopped pulsing, the warning stops or the TRIANGLE warning light may flash until brakes are released. Is there any way to tell which bikes will have the flashing issues? No.. Does Kisan have any idea why only a few bikes have the problem?.. No.. Will Pirates Lair refund your $$ if you are one of the lucky few to see the issue? Yes.
