These handcrafted fiberglass seat cowlings are both beautiful, lightweight, and fit the lines of the bike like a glove. This purely cosmetic enhancement actually adds to the sport "nature" of the bike.

Unlike BMW's own R1100S "partial" seat cowling that covers only a portion of the seat and requires .. (get this.. ) screws through the seat, our cowling covers the entire rear portion of the seat and installs with no tools in under 20 seconds via a 2 strap harness system (with a lightweight metal plate) and powerful magnets. Fit is snug with zero movement no matter what speed your inner demons force upon you. We even furnish a rubber edging to protect your seat from long term abrasion damage. It looks 100% factory!

Note: Our K1200RS Solo Seat Cowling is designed exclusively for the stock K12RS seat. It will NOT fit the Corbin, Sargent, Mayer, Russell, GT, or even the BMW Comfort seats.

Finish: We sell these unpainted with NO exceptions. However, if you do not have your own painter, we would be glad to forward your cowling directly to our "official" painter, Bavarian Cycle Paint in Pinon Hills, Ca where you can make arrangements directly with him (David at 760 868-5726) for painting and then delivery back to you. Pirates' Lair makes no money off this end of the deal nor do we have any affiliation with Bavarian. We do this as a courtesy to our customers. Bavarian has quoted $145. ea + shipping which is reasonable. FYI.. We have seen their work and it is first rate. They use BMW color codes and have been painting BMW's for years. If you would like to take advantage of Bavarian's services, just let us know when ordering and we'll take care of it and notify you of what you need to do.
