Time dedicated to foreplay.. and the exhaust canister on their bikes.The new Remus "Shortie" Hexacone is one of the shortest, sleekest exhaust canisters for these bikes on the market. The short canister (which features a removable silencer) allows you to go from a European approved deeptone sound level to a full sport sound in a matter of seconds. While NOT loud... these will be a little louder that the standard Hexacone due to the shortness. The standard Hexacone is 22".. The shortie..17".. Five inches shorter. Like virtually all aftermarket exhausts, the Remus Hexacone eliminates the catalytic converter. Your O2 sensor remains plugged into your factory header. The Remus Hexacone comes with a removable 'street legal' silencer. OEM heat shield is eliminated.. All exhaust piping and hardware are made of lightweight 321 aircraft stainless. Your stock canister is a hefty 12.5lbs.. The Remus Titanium Hexacone canister is under 5lbs.

Warning: For liability reasons, Pirates Lair and the manufacturer do NOT recommend the Hexacone shortie with the optional oem saddlebags or any aftermarket saddlebags due to possible heat damage. However.. we have spoken to one customer who says he experienced no heat problems whatsoever. Bag Clearance View Consider yourself forewarned. Mounting system is super clean.. No bands! The logos are adhesive style decals which can be lifted off the canister by the customer. The Remus Hexacone comes with a 1 year warranty against breaking, cracking or rusting. It slides over your canister and has a metal securing strap on the backside that cinches down and screws tight via a single screw. The plastic part has thick rubber on the underside to protect your canister finish. The kit includes a protective strip to put under the metal securing strap to protect the backside. In theory, there is nothing in the kit that will scratch or mar your canister in any way. These are available in black only. Simple chimp-easy install.
