Pirates' Lair is proud to offer the complete line of German made Wilbers Suspension Products for the 1999-2009 BMW K1200LT. If your factory shocks have 40K+ on them, they are as useless as tits on a boar. Replace them NOW. As are all the Wilbers Shocks.. these are fully rebuildable and come with a full 5 year warranty, and two (2) year service intervals. The service is done in the US. . Each shock comes with a rebound adjustment of 22 clicks, a wider range then any other product on the market.

Upon receipt of your order, I will forward the info to the US distributor WILBERS USA, and the factory in Germany will build your shock specifically for you, your riding style, AND your bike. Expect about 4 weeks from the day the order goes in to delivery to your door. Your shocks will be drop shipped directly to your door, by-passing me.
Note: Shocks should look exactly like or similar to posted pics. Wilbers changes the physical look of their shocks frequently and we try to keep the most current pics available on our site.

When you place your order, I will need the following info:

1. Rider weight with full gear
2. Passenger weight (if any), and how often in % of riding time
3. Luggage weight (if any) and how often in % of riding time.
4. Anything on the bike all the time, as empty system cases, aux. tank etc.
5. Ride Style: Street, Touring, Sport Touring
6. Ride Height: Oem (standard), 1" or 1 3/4" lower
7. Spring color: Blueline or Blackline is standard. "Nightline" (all black components) can be ordered at around 10% above posted price. Email me for exact quotes
8. Year bike.

LT Option #1 Front 630 / Rear 640

Standard Factory Replacement Shocks for K1200LT: The basic edition of the Wilbers Adjustline mono shock absorber comes along with the same technology as the more complex versions. The difference is that here we leave out the compression reservoir and thus the options for adjusting high- and low-speed compression. Nonetheless this shock absorber does not make any compromises concerning response behavior or durability. The radial piston, wet run, teflon guided self-aligning bearings and other features redefine the quality of a standard shock. Like usual the spring preload can be continuously tuned and the rebound can be set over an open-bleed system in 22 clicks. The shock absorber can be retrofitted with many other Wilbers accessories.

The shocks, unless otherwise requested, will be ordered for standard seat height. The seat height can be lowered by 1" or 1 3/4" upon request at no additional cost.

LT Option #2 Front 630 / Rear 641

With this shock absorber the compression tank is connected to the shocks´ body by a flexible steel hose. This rear shock has a hook wrench spring preload adjuster.Therefore it is an ideal alternative for road motorcycles with limited space. The hose can be placed individually where there is enough space for example on the rear frame where air flow can provide additional cooling. The adjustment screws for high- and low-speed compression, each tunable in 22 clicks, can be easily reached from the outside. Rebound can be modified by an open bleed system in 22 clicks and the preload is continuously adjustable.
