Take me home, El Capitan!

Pirates' Lair is proud to offer the complete line of German made Wilbers Suspension Products for the BMW 2009-2014 K1300S, K1300R, 2005-2008 K1200S, and K1200R / K1200R Sport. All these bikes use the same shocks. If your factory shocks have 40K+ on them, they are as useless as tits on a boar. Replace them NOW. As are all the Wilbers Shocks.. these are fully rebuildable and come with a full 5 year warranty, and two (2) year service intervals. The service is done in the US. . Each shock comes with a rebound adjustment of 22 clicks, a wider range then any other product on the market. These are a replacement for non ESA or ESA shocks.

Upon receipt of your order, I will forward the info to the US distributor WILBERS USA, and the factory in Germany will build your shock specifically for you, your riding style, AND your bike. Expect about 4 weeks from the day the order goes in to delivery to your door. Your shocks will be drop shipped directly to your door, by-passing me.

If you have a another bike that you need shocks for.. let me know and I'll do the research on it. We'd just need to know the make, model, and year.

Replacing ESA with Non-ESA: If you are like me.. you are wondering if there are any warning lights triggered by un-plugging your ESA shocks.. or wondering what your dash ESA display will show. I asked Wilbers and they said..." "After removing the ESA shocks there is no indication on the dash the shocks are gone. There is no detriment to any of the systems on the bike either. There will be a code stored in the ZFE that will come up anytime codes are checked."  So basically.. the bike will think the ESA are still in place.. No worries.

When you place your order, I will need the following info:

1. Rider weight with full gear
2. Passenger weight (if any), and how often in % of riding time
3. Luggage weight (if any) and how often in % of riding time.
4. Anything on the bike all the time, as empty system cases, aux. tank etc.
5. Ride height: Standard or lowered (1/2", 1", 1.5" and for some bikes 2")
6. Ride style: Street, Sport-touring, Touring, Race
7. Spring color: Blueline or Blackline is standard. "Nightline" (all black components) can be ordered at around 10% above posted price. Email me for exact quotes

Aftermarket shocks are the # 1 way to make your bike better.. and faster... Trust me..

K1300S / K1300R / K1200S / K1200R Option #1 Front 630 / Rear 640
Standard Factory Replacement Shocks for 2005-08: This option offers the same technology as the more expensive versions without compromising quality, handling characteristics or durability. This pair is suggested as a simple replacement for a worn out system or damaged shocks... for every day normal sport or touring riding. Unlike the more expensive versions, preload adjustments are made with a spanner tool (included) like factory 97-01 shocks, and there is no adjustable compression damping. Teflon guided self aligning eye bearings and oversized CNC machined aluminum components are state of the art. Both front and rear shock offer 22 clicks of rebound damping adjustment, more than the factory or competitive versions.

The shocks, unless otherwise requested, will be ordered for standard seat height. The seat height can be lowered by ½”, 1” or 1.5” upon request at no additional cost. The option 629 = length or height adjuster is available for the rear shock at $ 79.00 but it is not included in the package price. It does allow to change the shock length by +/- 5 mm.

These fit the K1300S, K1300R, K1200S, K1200R ’05 >, & K1200R Sport (same shocks for either model bike) The shocks do replace the ESA shocks. Product may vary from picture.

Option# 1 K1300S / K1300R / K1200S / K1200R Wilbers Front & Rear Combo $1664.US (USPS Priority Included)

K1300S / K1300R / K1200S / K1200R Option #2 Front 630 / Rear 642
This pair offers the standard front with a competition level rear shock with adjustable HIGH and LOW speed compression damping, with hose mounted reservoir for the street rider who wants more ajustability. This rear shock offers 22 clicks each of high and low-speed compression damping, as well as 22 clicks of rebound damping. One added benefit to an external reservoir is that the hydraulic oil receives additional cooling, away from the action of the moving springs. If you want to fine tune the suspension of your bike, improve road-holding, and aren't constantly going back and forth from full load and/or with a passenger to solo riding .. these are the pair for you.

The shocks, unless otherwise requested, will be ordered for standard seat height. The seat height can be lowered by ½”, 1” or 1.5” upon request at no additional cost. K1300S / K1300R / K1200S / K1200R Option #3 Front 630 / Rear 640
This pair offers the standard front and rear shock (see package No. 1) The basic edition of the Wilbers Adjustline mono shock absorber comes along with the same technology as the more complex versions. The difference is that here we leave out the compression reservoir and thus the options for adjusting high- and low-speed compression. Nonetheless this shock absorber does not make any compromises concerning response behavior or durability. The radial piston, wet run, teflon guided self-aligning bearings and other features redefine the quality of a standard shock. Like usual the spring preload can be continuously tuned and the rebound can be set over an open-bleed system in 22 clicks. The shock absorber can be retrofitted with many other Wilbers accessories.

The shocks, unless otherwise requested, will be ordered for standard seat height. The seat height can be lowered by ½”, 1” or 1.5” upon request at no additional cost. K1300S / K1300R / K1200S / K1200R Option #4: Front 630 / Rear 642
This pair is basically the top of line. The nonplus ultra concerning motorcycle shock absorbers! The upper mount consists of a milled part. It serves as a connection to the compression tank and houses the setup screws for the high- and low-speed areas of compression adjustment. With 22 clicks each they can be optimally tuned to your requirements! At maximum compression speed a pressure relief valve prevents the shock from hydraulic blocking and fends off uncontrolled jolts to the suspension. Rebound can be adjusted from the outside by 22 clicks. The spring basis is steplessly variable.

Who says you can't have it all?
Are you worthy?
