Each Techmount is crafted here in the USA with their patented process using high quality aircraft grade aluminum making your mounting system lightweight and most importantly .. durable. Your Techmount universal mount will come with a rectangular flat platform similar to those pictured above. By providing a flat surface with 4 rubber feet, this mount can securely fit any radar detector on the market. By using either the provided elastic bands or the Velcro dots (included with each mount) it is easy to securely attach and detach your device. All accessories are interchangeable on all Techmounts.

Application: We know for a fact that the Techmount Universal Handlebar Mount will fit on the clutch side of the S1000XR and S1000R. We do NOT know if it will fit on the brake side of the handlebars. If you figure it out.. please let us know. FYI.. The S1000XR has tapered handle bars, meaning they are fatter by the triple-clamp and taper the higher they go. Use the furnished 11/8 bushing for near center mounting or 7/8 bushing to mount by the grip.
