Produced in Japan, Sato rearsets are CNC machined out of aircraft-grade aluminum and coated with a clear anodized finish. Levers ride on twin ball bearings for a smooth feel, and no slop, as in found with bushings. Knurled non-folding pegs offer good grip, with more ground clearance. Fully adjustable 8 positions. Individual replacement parts are available. You deserve the best... or do you?

Pirates' Lair offers three versions of Sato rearsets.. Silver anodized (pic above left), Gold anodized (pic above right), and Black anodized. Click HERE for a pic of the Black anodized version. Every kit is a simple bolt-on affair. My install took about an hour. Most of that time was adjusting linkage on the shift lever. Getting your ergo's right has never been easier.

Note: Sato BMW Rearset Kits we sell are designated Type 2. The Type 1 kit does NOT come with a brake lever. The Type 2 does and it is my personal (anal) opinion that the kit doesn't look complete without the brake lever. We can get the Type 1 kits (which do NOT include an integrated brake lever) upon special order request. A Type 1 downgrade from Type 2 is $110.US less.

FYI.. All Sato orders are considered a special order item. We have these drop shipped directly from the US importer, by-passing us for faster delivery. and yes... .Replacement pegs and toe levers are readily available should you drop the bike for about $45 and $35 respectively..
