Take me home, El Capitan!

If you do enough riding.. sooner or later you're gonna get a flat and/or need air. It's not a matter of if, but when. I've been pretty lucky and had only 3 flats in 500,000+ miles, but none were pleasant experiences and the last one was particularly memorable. Read that whole weepy story here.. Good Day Gone Bad: Karma Gone Amuck .. A Ride Tale

If I had had the Rocky Creek MotoPressor Mini Motorcycle Tire Pump, I wouldn't have been stranded that day. This kit gives you the ability to add precious air any time you need it. If you operate a motorcycle, ATV, golf cart, small tractor, utility vehicle, or wheelbarrow you're going to be back in action in just a few minutes. The MotoPressor Pocket Pump will pump the front tire of your motorcycle from flat to around 32 psi and the rear to around 28psi in two (2) minutes (Tests run on a R1200GS). MotoPressor is capable of pumping over 100 psi!

The Rocky Creek tire pump, which fits in the palm of your hand, allows you to preselect a pressure for an easy and remote refill. Simply connect the pump to either your motorcycle battery or a mini jump starter. Select a pressure in PSI, BAR, or KPA. Turn the swtich to on and the pump will fill to that pressure and turn off automatically. The digital tire pressure gauge will automatically let you know the current tire pressure once you connect it to the valve stem of your tire. The pump has a "screw on chuck" fixed to the end of the hose.

The specs...

  • The pump weighs 1.1 pounds
  • Dimensions are 5 x 4.14 x 2.10
  • Pumps to a max of 100psi
  • Can pump a 120/70 R19 tire to 36psi in 2 minutes

Carrying a tire repair kit and a mini-air compressor on a motorcycle is always a good idea. Whether it's for repairing a flat, helping a fellow rider, or simply adding a few lbs of air to a low tire. I've used and tested quite a few motorcycle compressors through the years, but none have been as nice as this one. The fact that the Rocky Creek MotoPressor Mini Motorcycle Tire Pump has a built in air gauge is just icing on the cake. I never leave home without mine.. There are few things nicer than riding with confidence knowing you're prepared for whatever emergency arises.

BMW Accessory Port Compatibility: The Rocky Creek MotoPressor Mini Motorcycle Tire Pump comes with alligator clips for direct to battery power or an auto lighter adapter. WARNING – Do not use this pump in a standard accessory outlet, unless it is wired directly to the battery (which is what I did on my K1200S) and bypasses the motorcycle’s electrical computer system. The CANbus monitors and limits the amperage of the accessory outlet. When you plug the MotoPressor Pocket Pump into a CANbus equipped accessory outlet the CANbus will automatically shut off the circuit and the MotoPressor will stop working. If you use an accessory outlet it'll need to handle up to 15A.
