The Black Hawk slip-on kit includes left & right sport exhaust canisters, connecting tube, and fixed sound inserts* to fit every model year BMW K 1600 GT und K 1600 GTL. The slip-on kit features. high grade stainless steel, performance and torque increase, sporty sonorous sound, weight reduction, and longer lasting erections.

The Remus Black Hawk exhaust is proudly hand made in Austria and is manufactured using quality T304 grade stainless steel. The exhaust is finished off with a high-temperature flat black coating which provides a clear contrast to the stock chrome pipes. The Carbon Fiber ends are just visual icing on the cake. REMUS's main goal is to offer a custom exhaust with a bold & aggressive look while simultaneously maintaining slick & aerodynamic lines that enhance the overall design of the motorcycle.

* As of 2/2022 Remus is in the process of discontinuing their removable sound inserts and replacing them with a fixed version. Basically spot welding them in place.

So how does it sound? Expect a a deep & throaty growl. Remus includes a pair of "touring baffles" which can be used for those engaging in longer rides or when a whiney pillion rider is on-board. Building upon the success story of the REMUS sport exhaust for the BMW K1600GT & GTL range, the Remus sound is never generic, instead, it is individually engineered to the cravings of motorcycle riders around the globe.

In addition to the Black Hawk slip-on exhausts, Remus also offers a complete 6-2 stainless steel header system which eliminates the catalytic converter which is located in the oem headers. The Remus headers, sans the cat, further reduces the overall weight of the exhaust system, reduces back pressure and in turn increases power. The Remus quad slip-on and header system are both fully bolt-on and do not require any modifications or engine mapping.

K16 Header Application: We found out the hard way that BMW made a change to K16 headers on mid or early 2022 models. The headers that have fit all the K16's thru (as best as we can tell) late 2021 had (2) O2 sensor ports in them. The mid-2022 headers now have (4) O2 sensor ports due to the 2022 Euro 5 emission standards, similar to cars. Subsequently, we now know that the Remus part# 0101 089911 headers (sold exclusively in the US by Pirates Lair and listed below) fit only the 2017-2021 K1600 series BMWs. The headers sold below replace only BMW headers with (2) O2 sensor ports. Lastly... we have asked Remus to produce kits for the 2022 (4 port) bikes and hope to see those soon.
