quality, could not ask for more. Your instructions are actually funny because
the installation is so easy and obvious that the instructions really arn't
needed. So, if somebody needs them, they are probably so dumb that they
don't know how to read anyway. The mount fits snug on the clutch rez even
without tightening down the screws. Your mount keeps the installation real
neat and clean and it doesn't make your detector look "fragile"
by sitting up high like other style mounts. It does not interfer with gauges
at all and also there is no problem with lock-to-lock steering. The way
you have thought this out is appreciated in the inclusion of the pads to
keep the clutch rez cover being scratched by the mounting screws...a small
thing but a nice touch. The riding position on an S is obviously forward. If you ride in an "elbows bent" position, you probably won't see or hear a radar warning. So, for folks that have an S, they should probably consider adding a Screamer or Marc Parnes LED (like I do) in order to be aware of an alert. Otherwise, they would probably be better off with a Z technik to keep an alert more at eye level. Don't know how much different the riding position is on an R but it would obviously be more upright so observing an alert without a Screamer, etc may be possible.
