This slip-on kit does NOT eliminate the catalytic converter (which is located in the oem header system) so you are legal in all 50 states and Europe. The kit includes a carbon fiber heat shield.

Power & Torque: The slip-on system shows its effects on engine performance mainly at increasing torque by +4.7 Nm at 3650 rpm . You can expect a marginal 2.4 HP increase coming in at 3650 rpm, which is also the point where the max. increased torque is delivered.

Like every other aftermarket exhaust available for the R1250RS or R1250R, your O2 sensor remains plugged into your factory header. How does it sound? Pretty damn awesome, IMHO. I'd say it's comparable the Remus Hexacone (with silencer.) It is NOT obnoxious and you should have no fears of annoying the neighbors or the local popo.

The Akrapovic comes with a 1 year warranty against breaking, cracking or rusting, but NOT discoloration. FYI.. All Carbon Fiber will discolor over time. System retains centerstand capability. And yes.. this exhaust system is compatible with BMW side cases. The slip-on kit fits the 2019 and 2020 R1250RS and R1250R models.
