Power & Torque: the system shows its effects on engine performance mainly at the top of the rpm range, which can be seen clearly from the power and torque curves. At 10100 rpm we measured over 150 HP, with the max. increased power of 7.4 HP coming in at 7600 rpm, which is also the point where the max. increased torque is delivered.

Like every other aftermarket exhaust available for the K1200S, the Akrapovic eliminates the catalytic converter. Your O2 sensor remains plugged into your factory header. The Akra does NOT come with silencer. How does it sound? Pretty damn awesome, IMHO. I installed one on my own bike to compare with other brands on the market. I'd say it's about middle of the pack as far as loudness. It's not as loud as a Remus Powercone, but not as quiet as a Remus Revolution. I'd say it's comparable the Remus Hexacone (without a silencer), or Two Brothers (without a silencer.) It is NOT obnoxious and you should have no fears of annoying the neighbors.

The Akropovic comes with a 1 year warranty against breaking, cracking or rusting, but NOT discoloration. FYI.. All Carbon Fiber will discolor over time. System retains centerstand capability. Wondering about bag clearance? There's plenty.
