The Scoop Kit is manufactured for us in Nashville, Tn out of black injected molded thermoplastic with a specially chosen factory similar screen. The Scoop is not only a cosmetic enhancement to the 97-01 KRS, but also a "functioning" unit delivering a passive air-flow directly to the left side radiator via 1.5" flex tubing. Once installed... it looks 100% factory. Obviously, some minor modification has to be made to the fairing, but my step-by-step instructions are easy to follow and even the most mechanically challenged individual should be able to do the job in a few hours.
