The R1100R/R850R Stealth Backrest® is the newest addition to our line of Pirates' Lair backrests. It's admittedly not as sleek or stealthy as our other versions, but due to the shape and design of the factory luggage rack.. this is the best I could come up with without making the price go through the roof. The all stainless-steel bracket simply bolts to the factory rack (required) in under 10 minutes with furnished hardware. No mods or drilling are necessary.When not in use, removal is a simple 15 second affair... and without tools!

The R1100R/R850R Stealth fit every model year R1100R and R850R with the factory luggage rack (pictured at right.) The visible Stealth brackets are coated with the nonabrasive SILVER RHINO finish which is a textured rubber-like coating. FYI we were NOT completely satisfied with the Silver Rhino finish which is another reason we're not going to produce more. Picture above is of prototype with a silver powder coat.
