Clutch/Brake Reservoir Protector (Booty): We all could use a little booty. These are generally advertised as helping keep the sun from corrupting the fluids, but IMHO.. that's probably BS, but what do I know. I like these because they look trick. This black elasticated protector features a white sewn R&G logo in two positions. It simply fits straight over your clutch or brake reservoir keeping it protected from the sun's harmful UV rays! Can also be used as an arm band or penis warmer (if yours is only 2" long, short and fat).. I'm just sayin.' These will fit over virtually any round clutch or brake reservoir.

Cotton Reels: Are they cotton reels or spindle sliders or spools? Well they are all of the above really!! We sell two types cotton reels (sometimes know as spools) for the mighty S1000RR..Standard and Offset.The Offset version is theoretically stronger in a crash and makes lifting with a paddock stand easier - all to do with leverage. Some people moan about not being able to use the offset as easily for wheel removal but all you need to do is take the bobbin off the block and screw it into the paddock stand hole.. Our Offset Cotton Reels are mounted to a special, black-anodised aluminum bracket (included with the kit.) Either version will give protection to the swingarm area in most crashes. Also the bike can be lifted on the cotton reels, using a paddock stand with hooks.

Cotton Reels With Pit Bull Stands: If you bolt on your R & G cotton reels to your bike and then stick your Pit Bull stand under to lift, you'll probably find that the stands lift arms won't quite line up with your new reels..Here's the chimp easy fix contributed by the good people at Pit Bull.. "Those top supports on the S1000RR stand should be inverted so that the square piece of steel that the spooled plate is bolted to is facing UP and not DOWN. That will allow for additional width at the expense of a small amount of leverage when lifting the bike. Here's a picture. That will allow your customers to use the R & G spool kit with our stands."

Note: Wondering why the 2012+ version S1000RR frame sliders cost so much?? I did too. Their answer.. "The "no-cut" requires specially machined aluminum blocks to mount without the cutting which is why they are nearly $100 more retail."
